Publication Ethics

To maintain the quality and integrity of manuscripts as well as to prevent plagiarism in the publication process, the Editorial Board of JADIMI (Journal of AI-Driven Informatics and Management Information) establishes the following publication ethics.
These ethical guidelines apply to authors, editors, reviewers, and journal managers.
The ethical standards of this journal are based on the principles set forth by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).

Author’s Ethics

  1. Reporting Standards
Authors must present their research process and results to the editor accurately, clearly, and comprehensively, and ensure that research data is stored securely and responsibly.

  2. Originality and Plagiarism
Authors must guarantee that the submitted manuscript is original work, written by the author(s), and not taken from others’ ideas or writings. Authors are strictly prohibited from using references without proper citation or quotation.

  3. Resubmission Policy
Authors must declare that the manuscript has not been submitted or published in any other journal. If duplicate submission is discovered, the Editorial Board reserves the right to reject the manuscript.

  4. Author Qualification and Responsibility
Authors must ensure that they possess competence and qualifications relevant to the field of study covered in the manuscript. The corresponding author is responsible for all communications with the editorial team and for resolving any issues arising during the publication process.

  5. Correction of Errors
If the author discovers any significant error in the manuscript (e.g., in the title, author names, affiliations, citations, or interpretations), the author must promptly notify the editor and propose necessary corrections or revisions.

  6. Disclosure and Conflicts of Interest
Authors must be aware of and adhere to the publication ethics outlined above to avoid conflicts of interest with other parties, ensuring that the publication process proceeds ethically and transparently.

Editorial Ethics

  1. Publication Decision
Editors are responsible for ensuring that every manuscript undergoes a fair, transparent, objective, and prudent review process before making the final decision to accept or reject it.

  2. Publication Information
Editors must ensure that all guidelines for authors are clearly accessible and understandable, both in print and online.

  3. Distribution of Manuscripts for Review
Editors must assign manuscripts to appropriate reviewers, inform them about the review procedures, and ensure the confidentiality of both authors and reviewers.

  4. Objectivity and Neutrality
Editors must act objectively and impartially, without discrimination based on gender, commercial interests, ethnicity, religion, race, class, or nationality.

  5. Confidentiality
Editors are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of all submitted manuscripts and the personal information of authors.

  6. Disclosure and Conflicts of Interest
Editors must avoid situations that could create conflicts of interest and uphold ethical standards to ensure a fair publication process.

Reviewer’s Ethics

  1. Objectivity and Neutrality
Reviewers must conduct their evaluation fairly, objectively, and professionally, based solely on the scientific merit of the manuscript, regardless of the author’s background or identity.

  2. Accuracy of References
Reviewers must verify that all references and citations used in the manuscript are accurate and credible. If any errors or inconsistencies are found, the reviewer must notify the editor so that corrections can be requested from the author.

  3. Timeliness and Review Efficiency
Reviewers should complete their review within the specified time frame (maximum 2 weeks). If additional time is needed, reviewers must promptly inform the editorial board.

  4. Disclosure and Conflicts of Interest
Reviewers must understand and adhere to the publication ethics to avoid any conflict of interest, ensuring that the review process remains objective and transparent.

Journal Management Ethics

  1. Decision-Making
The journal managers and editorial board must define the mission and objectives of the journal clearly and ensure that all publishing policies and decisions are made without bias or personal interest.

  2. Independence and Collaboration
Journal managers must respect the independence of editors and reviewers, fostering a professional and supportive environment while upholding the privacy of authors.

  3. Protection and Promotion
Journal managers are responsible for protecting intellectual property rights (copyright), managing funding transparently, and promoting the journal’s publications in ways that ensure the ethical use and benefit of the published works.

  4. Disclosure and Conflicts of Interest
Journal managers must also adhere to ethical standards to prevent conflicts of interest, thereby maintaining the credibility and integrity of the publication process.
